A Hatebeak 2003-ban alakult, énekesük Waldo, a szürke jákópapagáj. Az együttes kultikus lett, pedig egyetlen koncertet sem adtak a fennállásuk alatt, mivel a madár nem bírta volna a death metal hangerejét élőben.
