Gulyás szerint semmilyen alkut nem kötött a kormány az MNB alapítványainak pénzköltése miatt magyarázkodásra kényszerült Matolcsyval

Az MNB volt elnöke korábban sokat kritizálta a kormányt, aztán ezzel alábbhagyott. Időben egybeesik, hogy mégsem módosult a jegybanki törvény, amellyel a felügyelőbizottság jobban rálátott volna az akkor még Matolcsy vezette MNB alapítványának pénzügyeire.
