Az 1980-as években alig szereltek be New Yorkban olyan ablakot, amin a maffia ne keresett volna legalább egy dollárt. Aki nem működött együtt, annak géppuskával lőtték szét az ablakait, és ez elég hatékony motivációs módszer volt.
