Júliusban az orosz-ukrán háború történetében minden korábbinál nagyobb havi mennyiségben vetettek be drónokat a kijevi erők ellen, új technikai megoldásokkal. A hónap utolsó napján mintegy 300 drón és 8 rakéta támadta Kijevet, 16 ember halálát okozva.
