Kilenc évvel a Forma–1 megvásárlása után a MotoGP-t is megszerezte magának a Liberty Media. A helyzet nagyjából ugyanaz: a MotoGP ugyanúgy kisebb hullámvölgyben van, mint az F1 volt, amikor az amerikaiak megszerezték, a megoldás pedig most is ugyanaz lehet.
