On Thursday, Judit Varga was heard as a witness in the Schadl–Völner trial at the Budapest Metropolitan Court. This was the first time since the clemency case broke that the press was able to question the former justice minister. Varga spoke about her former husband Péter Magyar being a „formation” and said that betrayal was not an achievement, but we also asked her about the clemency case and whether she had really arranged jobs at state institutions for her ex-husband, as claimed by Fidesz.
